November, 24 (2005) at 4pm Thomas Ihn Using tailored semiconductor quantum dot structures and coupling between them it is possible to investigate the interplay between interactions, quantum interference and correlations. Experimental examples will be presented showing the physics of few- electron quantum dots. Coupled quantum dot and quantum ring systems will then be used to address questions of phase-coherence. |
